Over years, an engine will have build-up of sludge, metal dusts and a host of abrasive contaminants in the hard to reach machinery and moving parts. Gum, grit, varnish and other by-products of combustion are not fully cleaned out of engines by timely and regular oil changes alone. The build-up of sludge deposits can lead to problems, including sticking valves, carbon build-up and clogged passages that restrict the flow of oil to vital engine parts, especially in upper valve train areas. These deposits will remain in your engine even after regular oil changes.

Here’s a bit of history on AMG. It was founded in 1967 by Mercedes-Benz engineers Hans Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher in Stuttgart. AMG is an abbreviation of Aufrecht, Melcher and Großaspach (Aufrecht’s birth town).
It was a dominant weekend for the Mercedes team, with Briton Lewis Hamilton turning his pole position into a race win, finishing 20.5 seconds ahead of the pack. Teammate Valtteri Bottas, who started second on the grid, came in second place. With the win, it moves Hamilton into a 17-point championship lead over title rival Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari, who came in fourth.
