Recently, we wrote about the worrying statistic that in London alone, Uber drivers are allegedly responsible for one sexual assault a week. In our neck of the woods, Uber and Grab are also not entirely free from scandal nor have escaped headlines linking their drivers to misbehaviour, violence and sexual assault. Uber has, through its brief existence, teetered from one controversy to another. Their meteoric growth is probably a part of the problem, with control mechanisms being outpaced by the rate of growth. However, in a very worrying report from the UK Police, it was announced that Uber drivers are linked to one sex attack per week, in London alone!

BMW to join the Electrified Club as well

No sooner than we had written about the plans of Jaguar to electrify its fleet, then BMW makes a similar announcement. Apparently, by 2025, 12 of the 25 models that BMW are selling will be totally electric, and the others will all be hybrids, according to CEO Harald Kreuger.
