Fog Causes More Than 100 Car Crashes As Drivers Continuously Pile Up

Talk about brain fog. Dozens of cars lost control and smashed into one another when a bridge in Zhengzhou China was coated in a thick layer of fog. More than 100 cars smashed together when fog and slippery conditions made driving treacherous, reports the Drive.

A similar incident involving 200 cars and one fatality happened on this same bridge in 2022.

In the video, drivers can be seen shouting at oncoming cars to stop but one by one cars speed by, adding into the pile-up.

Visibility was poor in the dense fog, and hapless drivers were toot late to react. It is unclear at this time how far the visibility was, but in the 2022 case, it was less than 200 meters.

We cannot imagine the havoc that has likely ensued at the insurance companies and we wonder whose insurance should all these cars be claimed under.

Assuming there was one fender bender to start this opera of carnage.
