If you remember the limited G63 6×6 that Mercedes-Benz introduced in their G-Class range (based on the G63 AMG wagon) and is still lusting for one, here’s a beast for you to divert your crush towards. Bodykit specialist, Carlex Design, has revealed its custom design for an X-Class 6×6 pickup called the Exy, conceptualised under Carlex’s new Pickup Design division.
Unfortunately, Carlex Design isn’t providing many details but the most potent variant of the X-Class range is an X350d, which comes with a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6, churning out 258 horsies and 406 lb-ft of torque and mated to a seven-speed automatic. The standard truck does the 0-62 mph sprint in 7.9 seconds, on to a top speed of 127 mph.
But the question we want to ask is whether this concept will actually be made reality. Make it come true!
