Audi wasn’t just contented with the R8 V10, it had to push the bar up, up high with a Plus variant. The Audi R8 V10 Plus has an extra 24bhp hike on top of the standard V10’s already potent 518bhp. Carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) material is used for an assortment of exterior and interior parts as well as a smaller fuel tank, manual seat mechanism and reduced sound insulation, making it lighter by 50kg. Carbon fibre ceramic discs, a standard fit for the V10 Plus and optional for the other variants, offer precise braking action and, of course, durability. Audi’s R8 fully deserves its supercar status in its V10 Plus guise.
